Yamaha announces New Year scheme
KATHMANDU, March 29: Morang Auto Works (MAW) - the authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles for Nepal- has launched a new scheme ´Yamaha New Year Triple Scratch´ to celebrate New Year 2067 BS.
“This year the customers of Yamaha will get sure shot cash prizes worth at least Rs 5,000 to Rs 100,000 through scratch cards that customers get on every purchase - both cash and finance,” MAW said in a statement.

Sanima, NLIC join hands
KATHMANDU, March 29: Sanima Bikas Bank Ltd and Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) have entered into an agreement to promote Child Life Insurance Policies.
Kumar Lamshal, CEO of Sanima Bikas Bank and Manoj Kumar Bhattarai, CEO of NLIC, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies on Monday, according to a press statement.
As per the agreement, the child life insurance policy issued by NLIC will be incorporated into Sanima Muna Bachat Khata. “This step is taken in order to help parents financially secure their child´s future,” the statement added.
Prudential Finance holds general assembly
KATHMANDU, March 29: Prudential Finance Company Ltd conducted its sixth general assembly on Monday. The assembly approved the report of the fiscal year 2008/2009, according to a press statement on Monday.
The company mobilized deposits worth Rs 690 million and earned the net profit of Rs 14.7 million. The company has the non performing asset of 0.85 percent. The meeting also decided to distribute a dividend of 10.52 percent.
The company aims to mobilize Rs 1 billion as deposits and invest Rs 1.1 billion on loans in the current fiscal year. The company is also planning to expand its network by establishing more branches in the near future.
