BUSINESS BRIEFS: PROstyle hair cream for men

KATHMANDU, April 1: Dabur Nepal has launched PROstyle hair cream for men. PROstyle´s brand ambassador Nima Rumba and popular artiste Priyanka Karki launched the product on the 2nd day of TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2013 at the Soaltee Crown Plaza, Dabur Nepal said in a press statement on Monday.



"PROstyle hair creams are available in two variants: PROstyle Dandruff Control Hair Cream and PROstyle Nourish & Protect Hair Cream. Both the variants are available in 3 SKUs - 30gm, 60gm and 100gm and costs Rs 45, Rs 65 and Rs 100," the statement added. [break]Abhaya Pd Gorkhalee, head of marketing at Dabur Nepal, said Dabur Nepal has developed PROstyle hair creams exclusively for Nepali consumers.



Hyundai´s New Year Offer



KATHMANDU
: Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor for Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has launched a new consumer scheme named ´Hyundai Naya Barsa 2070 Gazzzjab ko Offer´ to mark New Year 2070. "Under the scheme, Hyundai consumers will get cash discount plus special New Year bonus," the company said in a statement.



Customers will get New Year bonus of up to Rs 70,000 through scratch coupon. During the scheme period, customers can also exchange old vehicles of any brand with brand new Hyundai vehicles. All Hyundai vehicles come with 3 years warranty, 3 years free servicing along with free road tax and ownership transfer, said the statement.



United Finance, Continental Marketing sign pact



KATHMANDU
: United Finance and Continental Marketing have signed an agreement to faciliate customers for payment of landline, ADSL and mobile bills of Nepal Telecom and mobile bills of Ncell. Isrwor Pokharel, general manager of United Finance and Rajesh Upadhya, chairman of Continental Marketing inked the pact on behalf of the respective organizations. A press release issued on Monday says customers will be able to pay bills of Nepal Telecom and Ncell from head office and branches of United Finance.



VW Golf wins World Car of the Year



KATHMANDU
: Volkswagen Golf was declared the 2013 World Car of the Year at a press conference hosted by the New York International Auto Show and Bridgestone Corporation. According to a press statement issued by Pooja International Nepal -- the authorized importer of Volkswagen in Nepal, this is the second consecutive year that Volkswagen has won the prestigious award and the fourth time since 2009.



"The Volkswagen Up! won in 2012, the Volkswagen Polo in 2010, and the Volkswagen Golf VI in 2009," said the statement. "The Volkswagen Golf was chosen from an entry list of 42 new vehicles from all over the world." Pooja International Nepal has been selling Golf since 2010 in Nepal.
