BUSINESS BRIEFS: Guna unveils new apartments

KATHMANDU, April 21: Guna Colony involved in housing business for a decade has unveiled new apartments for sales in Babar Mahal in Kathmandu and Gwarko in Lalitpur.



Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, the company said it has opened booking for 310 apartments in a 14-storied building at Babar Mahal. [break]



All the apartments are of three-bedroom and the prices starts from Rs 5.5 million. Likewise, it has opened booking for 650 luxurious 2-bedroom apartments at Gwarko. The prices for the apartments start from Rs 2.5 million.



“The apartments have sound water availability, power supply, 24-hour security service, fire escape, swimming pool and adequate parking facility,” the statement added.



The company has said that the buyers can also enjoy loans from Guna Co-operative at concessional interest rates for 15 to 20 years.





Honda´s New Year offer



KATHMANDU, April 21: Syakar Company Ltd, the sole distributor of Honda Motorcycle in Nepal since 1968, has launched a new promotional scheme for Nepali New Year.



Issuing a press statement, the company customers will get a scratch card on every purchase of any Honda bike. The scratch card will guarantee them gifts from Philips and Sukam, and also a bumper draw coupon.

Unique earns Rs 1.36m operating profit



KATHMANDU, April 21: Unique Financial Institution managed to earn an operating profit of Rs 1.36 million by collecting deposit of Rs 360 million and investment worth Rs 420 million by mid-April.



Issuing a press statement, the company said that it has been offering interest in the range of 7 percent to 10 percent on various deposit schemes.



It has also been providing different loans under hire purchase, housing, industrial, business real estate, education and many others segments, the statement added.
