KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Buddha Air’s ‘Mountain Flight’ aircraft with a call sign 9N-AJX was safely landed after a technical issue was detected.
According to Dipendra Kumar Karna, information officer of Buddha Air, the technical problem was detected on the aircraft.

Currently, the airline’s technical team is inspecting the aircraft. Karna said, “After the technical issue was detected in the right engine of the aircraft, it was safely landed, and technical repairs are underway. Due to deteriorating weather conditions and the mountains being invisible today, no mountain flights took place.”
Buddha Air’s statement said, “Today, flight number 100 of the ‘mountain flight’ aircraft with call sign 9N AJX experienced an indicator issue in the right engine, so the plane landed safely in Kathmandu. The technical team of Buddha Air is currently inspecting the aircraft.”
Similarly, Buddha’s Air’s all five mountain flights scheduled for today have been canceled. The company said that the passengers who have tickets will be taken on the next flight to the mountains. The information officer Karna said that an aircraft of the airline that took off for the mountain flight from Kathmandu returned after the mountains were not visible.
