According to the company, the aircraft, which has landed 75,000 flights so far, has been sold to a Canadian company. Buddha Air stated that the sold aircraft is in airworthy condition. Even though there is a legal provision that prohibits bringing 15-year-old aircraft into Nepal, a Canadian company has bought the ship. A technician from Canada purchased the aircraft saying it was airworthy.

The plane is ready to be taken to Canada within two weeks. The B1900D aircraft made its first flight in September 1997. According to the company, this aircraft has flown and landed 75,000 times in the Nepalese sky. The Nepali registration number of the Beechcraft plane, which was brought to Nepal for the first time on September 30, 1997, is 'Nine N-AEE'.
