The exhibition offers opportunities to meet and interact with representatives from over twenty UK institutions, and learn about scholarship guidance and British Council´s counseling service and much more.
The exhibition is set to take place at DECC, fourth floor at United World Trade Center (UWTC), Tripureshwar, Kathmandu from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The education fair is taking place at a time when the UK Embassy has stopped issuing visa to students. However, British Council states on its website that they are confident that the process will begin again soon so that genuine students will be able to apply and secure their place in UK at the start of the academic year in September 2010.
The statement also states that for students who genuinely wish to apply for a visa to study in the UK, British Council will work with the relevant authorities to provide support for students at the earliest through their website and resource centers in relation to visa applications.
However, British Council has no control or influence over UK Government immigration policy.
