Alfresco Media and Event Management pvt Ltd has organized it ninth edition of National level Art Exhibition and Competition with the motto of an open platform for youngsters.

The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Anil Keshary Shah the CEO of Nabil Bank Ltd. “I am pleased to see the team of young people working hard and putting such good effort to create platform for young generation for uplifting the presentation of Nepalese art. Also Shyam K. Shrestha and Deepa Bishwokarma the coordinator and Coordinator representative who have played a key role in the success of the program,” quoted the press statement.
Around thousand participants including school students as well as college and senior artists participated in the competition. As per the press statement they were further divided in groups likewise for the competition to be fair and square. The range of painting prices are from Rs 1, 000 to Rs 5, 00,000 depending on artists and their works.
In the press release, art critic Mukesh Malla mentioned, “The event is playing vital role to bring consciousness about importance of art within the people and it’s crucial to continue such exhibition.”
“The school and college level students were competed and awarded to moralize them to keep on expressing their feeling through their creative ideas,” Senior Judge Gahendra Man Amatya said.
The prize distribution was followed by token and appreciations for all the participants. The exhibition ran from the June 17 and continues till June 27 at Nepal Art Council Babar Mahal, Kathmandu.
