NAWALPARASI, Jan 11: Vehicular movement along the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purva) was disrupted after a bridge over the Binayi river collapsed at 5:00 on Friday evening.
The Chief District Officer of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purva), Arun Pokharel, stated that vehicular movement has been completely obstructed after the bridge collapsed in Dumkibas of Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality.

CDO Pokharel mentioned that the central part of the bridge had collapsed and the construction of a diversion has been initiated since there are no chances of immediate maintenance of the bridge for traffic resumption.
