Bomb explosion at Okhaldhunga targets gathering of Left Alliance, NC

OKHALDHUNGA, Nov 18: An unidentified group exploded a bomb at Sunkoshi rural municipality-7, Chyanamm of Okhaldhunga targeting the cadres of Nepali Congress and Left Alliance gathering. No human casualty has been reported and vehicles suffered minor damage. Sita Karki, police inspector said that investigation into the attack is underway.

OKHALDHUNGA, Nov 18: An unidentified group exploded a bomb at Sunkoshi rural municipality-7, Chyanamm of Okhaldhunga targeting the cadres of Nepali Congress and Left Alliance gathering. No human casualty has been reported and vehicles suffered minor damage. Sita Karki, police inspector said that investigation into the attack is underway.

Madhav Kumar Nepal from CPN-UML and Ram Bahadur Thapa from CPN-Maoist (center) are scheduled to arrive and speak at the gathering at 11 AM.  Likewise, Bal Krishna Kand, Nepali Congress’s Election Publicity Committee Coordinator is scheduled to address the election gathering of Nepali Congress. The bombs were detonated when cadres, both from UML and Nepali Congress were on their way to the assemblies.
