Take a large bowl and beat the eggs until they become foamy. Add butter to the mixture (if butter is in room temperature, heat it before you use it.)

In a separate bowl, add all purpose flour, salt, and sugar. Mix the dry ingredients well.

Then, combine the dry mixture with the egg and butter mix and whisk thoroughly. To make a red color pancake, separate half of the batter into another bowl. Stir a few drops of food coloring or add beetroot juice until you get the red color you desire.

Leave the batter aside for some time and heat the frying pan.

Grease your pan very lightly and pour about 1/4th cup full of batter into the pan. Cook one side by covering the pan for about two minutes and then flip it. Cook until the pancake becomes slightly golden on both sides.

Now this is the fun part. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out hearts from both red and white pancakes. Switch the heart-shaped pancakes. The red hearts go on the white pancakes and vice versa.

Serve these delicious treats with your partner’s favorite sweet toppings.

Love potion

This smoothie is delicious and healthy at the same time.

Ingredients

    2 cups fresh spinach

    2 cups coconut milk

    300 grams strawberries

    4 dates pitted

    ½ beetroot diced

    1 tablespoon vanilla extract (optional)

    Whipped cream on top (optional)

Directions

Blend coconut milk and spinach until smooth.

Then add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth again. Decorate your glass with whipped cream.

Now, to garnish your drink, take a knife and cut a V shaped notch on top of the strawberry. Remove the strawberry’s core and green leaves completely. Cut the strawberry into half and you will have heart shaped berries ready. Place them on the whipped cream or at the rim of your glass.

Mini pies

These crispy heart shaped pies with nutella and strawberry fillings will definitely win you extra brownie points with your loved one.

Ingredients

    All purpose flour

    2 cups diced strawberries

    2 tablespoons sugar

    2 tablespoons corn starch

    2 eggs

    Nutella (optional)

Directions

Use all purpose flour, eggs, and grinded sugar to make dough. Then roll the dough onto a large thin sheet. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out around 20 heart shaped dough pieces.

For each mini pie, you want to brush the dough with eggs and strawberry mixture.

Cover this with another piece of heart shaped dough. Press the edges firmly to ensure that it is sealed. Pressing the edges with the ends of a fork will give it a beautiful design. Brush your mini pie again with the egg mixture.

Bake for about half an hour until it turns golden brown.

You can sprinkle grinded sugar on top if you wish. Use nutella as a dip or to add a bit of icing.
