Raju Chaudhary, 25, of Daunnedevi-5 of Nawalparasi died when he fell down from the roof of the bus (Lu 1 Kha 3523) carrying wedding attendants. [break]
Seriously injured Chaudhary breathed his last while undergoing treatment in Polyclinic in Bardaghat, informed District police Office, Nawalparasi.
Likewise, local Birendra Nusahar of Trivenisusta VDC-4 injured when a tractor he was riding overturned in the field. Injured Musahar is being treated in Balmikinagar of India.
In yet another incident, a passenger-ferrying microbus caught fire in Dumkibas-5 of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway on Monday night. The sudden firing has damaged entire parts of the microbus. No human casualties have been reported as all the passengers managed to get off from the vehicle.
Reason behind the microbus is yet to be found, said police.
Similarly, Tilak Bista, 35, of Prakashpur-8 of Sunsari district died of being struck by lightning last night.
Bista, who was seriously injured while struck by lightening at night, died on the way to district hospital, Inaruwa, according to District Police Office, Sunsari.
