BIRATNAGAR, Sept 7: The chief of District Livestock Office has been arrested on the charge of raping a female staffer. Police took Dr Uday Pratap Singh into custody after he confessed his crime.

Superintendent of Police Dipak Kumar Thapa said a charge sheet has been filed against Dr Singh. The District Administration Office has also initiated the process of suspending him.
