KATHMANDU, Jan 17: The government has started administering booster shots to frontline workers, who have completed six months after receiving their second dose of vaccine against COVID-19, from today.
As evidence, people will have to bring their vaccination cards to receive the booster dose. The government has designated various centers across the capital to administer the doses to the eligible people.
Eligible people can receive the booster shots at the Armed Police Hospital in Balambu, Martyrs Memorial Hospital in Kalanki, Birendra Sainik Hospital in Chauni, Lotse Building in Naya Buspark, Nepal Police Hospital in Maharajgunj, Bir Hospital, and Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital in Teku.
Similarly, Vayodha Hospital in Balkhu, Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital in Thapathali, Nijamati Hospital in New-Baneshwor, People's Dental College and Hospital in Samakhusi, Kathmandu Model Hospital, Apex Polyclinic, Janamaitri Hospital in Balaju, Subekshya Hospital in Thapathali, Norvic Hospital, and Nobel Hospital in Sinamangal have been designated by the government to administer the booster doses.
