A book on Bhume Rural Municipality of Rukkum, along with three documentaries about the same region was launched on Monday in an event organized at Nepal Tourism Board, Bhrikutimandap. The book was launched jointly by the speaker of the House of Representatives, Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, Rabindra Adhikari.
In the event, tourism expert Surendra Rana talked about the contents of the book. He said book included information on Bhume, including its natural heritage, the culture, and lifestyle of the Magar inhabitants. He also added, "Bhume Rural Municipality is an excellent place for the researchers who want to study how Maoist used the area during the insurgency period. And at the same time, the place is also naturally and culturally rich, which makes it one of the best tourist destinations in Nepal."

A photo exhibition also kicked off on the same day. A total of 34 photographs by Joyti Keshar Singh, Amrit Bhadgaule, RK Adipta Giri, and Surendra Rana is on exhibition.
The photo exhibition continues till Wednesday.
