DHANGADHI, June 23: An unidentified group detonated bomb at the residence of mayoral candidate for Godabari municipality of Kailali from the CPN (Maoist Center), Gokarna Bhatta, last night.

The bomb explosion took place on the premises of his house at Attariya Bazaar at around 2.45 am, shared DSP at District Police Office, Bir Bahadur Budha Magar. The explosion smashed the window screens and caused damages to a door of his house, DSP Magar informed.
The search for the detonator is on, police said. Bhatta is a younger brother of CPN-MC leader and province-7 in-charge Lekh Raj Bhatta. RSS
