Bomb blast in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR, April 4: A bomb exploded at the usually crowded Gudri bazaar in Biratnagar on Saturday afternoon, leaving Hira Qureishi, a meat shop owner, slightly injured. According to police, the bomb may have been abandoned.



Security has been beefed up in the city following the blast. Police said that there was no human casualty as the bomb was not powerful and they were investigating the incident.



Police have started searching Gudri bazaar in case there are more bombs.
