Another Bodo artist told this correspondent that the performance of the Meche artistes would be treasured by the Bodo artistes of this region and it would indeed help bridge a bond of fraternity betewwn the Nepali Meches and the Boro-Kacharis of Assam.
Meanwhile, with 26 days in hand, the reception committee of the 50th annual conference of Bodo Sahitya Sabha is now seen busy in giving final shape to the venue of the conference for which a total of one crore rupees has been fixed to meet the expenditure.
Rihon Daimari, minister of Public Health Engineering who is the president of the reception committee and Nilakanta Goyari, general secretary of the reception committee, informed Republica that the mega literary congregation would be a mile stone for the people of Udalguri district as it would bring a message of peace, prosperity and brotherhood among all the ethnic linguistic groups living in this region.
The four day literary mega event of Bodo Sahitya Sabha is going to be held at Udalguri town in BTC region of Assam starting January 19 (to January 22) 2011.
