BMC overcomes New Summit

KATHMANDU, March 6: Bhaktapur Multiple Campus (BMC) defeated New Summit College by four wickets in the sixth match of the ongoing eighth nationwide Tribhuvan University BSC-CSIT T20 Cricket Cup in Kathmandu on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Bhaktapur Multiple Campus (BMC) defeated New Summit College by four wickets in the sixth match of the ongoing eighth nationwide Tribhuvan University BSC-CSIT T20 Cricket Cup in Kathmandu on Thursday.


At the Mulpani Cricket Ground, BMC elected to field first limiting New summit for 90 runs in 16 overs for the loss of six wickets.

BMC conceded 20 extras. 


Sunil Khadka top scored with 24 runs in 32 deliveries which included three fours.


Gajendra Pandaya bowled economically conceding 13 runs off his four overs and picking up two wickets. He was awarded with the man of the match title. BMC chased the target in the fifteenth over with four wickets in hand.  Opening batsman Shikhar Dahal made 22 runs off 20 deliveries including two fours and a six. 


Similarly, vice-captain Pandaya scored 41 runs in 45 deliveries which included four boundaries and a six to round-off an excellent all-round performance. New Summit skipper Rajeev Gurung tried to inspire his troops picking up 3 wickets but his efforts went in vain.
