INARUWA, Dec 5: A non-governmental organization has distributed blankets to the poverty-stricken people at Narsingh VDC of Sunsari district in view of dipping mercury in Tarai Madhes.
The Millat Educational and Welfare Society Nepal, a Muslim NGO based at Narsingh VDC – 1, organized a programme at Ramnagar Bhutaha VDC and distributed blankets among 180 families.
Society's General Secretary, Dr Khursid Alam, said the blankets were distributed to poor, elderly, differently abled, single women and members of the backward communities. RSS
