PHALEBAS (Parbat), Dec 19: The blacktopping of Kagbeni-Muktinath road section in Mustang, the district across the Himalaya, has begun.

The seven-kilometer road section linking Kagbeni to historic place Muktinath is the first blacktopping project in the district. The district-based Rural Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project is assisting to upgrade the route. The blacktopping is expected to complete by the mid of 2017, said District Technical Office's Engineer Rabindra Tiwari.
