BIZ BRIEFS: Samsung launches SLC superstar offer

KATHMANDU: International Marketing Services (IMS), the authorized distributor of Samsung mobile phones for Nepal, has launched ´Samsung SLC Superstar Offer´ at the ICT Expo 2013, targeting students who appeared in SLC exams this year. According to a company statement, IMS is giving away 15 percent discount on Samsung Y lite Duos, Champ Neo Duos and Star III Duos at the event. To avail the discount offer, students must present their SLC entrance pass and identity card at the time of purchase, says the statement. In addition, students, who pass with distinction and in first division, can claim additional 10 percent and 5 percent discount, respectively, just by submitting a copy of their mark sheets and invoice made available at the ICT Expo. This offer is valid until the final day of the ICT Expo 2013.



Toshiba´s New Year offer

KATHMANDU: CG Electronics, the sole authorized distributor of Toshiba products for Nepal, has introduced a promotional scheme called ´Toshiba Power Bulletin - Bhari Chut ko Sukadh Samachar´ to commemorate Nepali New Year 2070. Under the scheme, cash discount offer is guaranteed to every customer who purchase Toshiba products, says a company statement. The company is offering cash discount of up to Rs 4,000 on purchase of every Toshiba LCD or LED. Instant discounts are also being offered on purchase of Toshiba refrigerators, washing machines and vacuum cleaners. "The scheme is targeted toward customers who prefer to buy quality and superior products of Toshiba," says the statement. The scheme is valid for limited period of time, adds the statement.



Subisu´s New Year offer

Subisu Cablenet has launched New Year 2070 offer, under which customers can purchase a combo of broadband Internet service with Cable TV channel, cable modem, Bitdefender antivirus and internet security 2013 at Rs 1,000 exclusive of VAT. In addition, customers purchasing single bandwidth package from 128 Kbps to 1Mbps will get the equal bandwidth package for free. Under the offer, customers will also get free modem for Internet connection. The offer is valid in Kathmandu Valley only and certain conditions apply, said a company statement. 



Honda´s emergency service

KATHMANDU: Syakar Trading Company (STC), the sole distributor of Honda bikes and scooters for Nepal, has announced a service called ´Honda Emergency Service´. According to a statement, the service provides 24x7 assistance to its customers on the road. "The objective of the service is to provide emergency help to people who are stuck due to break down of Honda Bike on the road or at home or anywhere inside the Ring Road," says the statement. Customers can lodge complaints by calling a toll-free number provided by the company. Labor and transportation charges will apply as per company rules, says the statement.



Dell announces new offer

KATHMANDU: Neoteric Nepal, the authorized distributor of Dell products for Nepal, has launched ´You´re Lucky with Dell´ offer, under which attractive prizes are guaranteed with purchase of every Dell laptop. According to a company statement, customers can win Samsung LED TV of up to 40 inch, Nokia Lumia 920 and 820, Marc Ecko and other branded watches and Logitech Speaker S150 by scratching a card provided with purchase of every Dell laptop. In addition, Neoteric Nepal is also giving away free Targus laptop bag, antivirus software, one-year insurance, one-year warranty, Internet service, genuine Windows 8 OS and software to students.



Samsung launches New Pinch offer

KATHMANDU: Samsung has launched a Nepali New Year scheme called ´Samsung New Year, New Pinch´, under which prizes are guaranteed on purchase of a wide range of Samsung products, says a statement. Customers will get free Himstar rice cooker with purchase of 22- to 26-inch flat panel television, a Bajaj Bravo mixture grinder with purchase of flat panel television of 32 inches and above, Real juice with purchase of Samsung refrigerators, Bajaj or Himstar iron with purchase of washing machines and a microwave oven kit with purchase of microwave ovens, says the statement. The offers are available at all authorized Samsung dealers and are valid for 12 weeks from Monday.
