Samsung launches new consumer scheme

KATHMANDU, July 30: Samsung Nepal has said that it has launched a scheme named 'Utsav Ko Umanga, Bidhesh Ma Bhetau Afna Sanga'. Issuing a statement, the company said customers buying smartphone from any Samsung outlet during the offer period can participate in the contest.

"The participants need to fill up a form and mention why they need to meet their family members during Dashain. Five winners shall be selected based on their submitted stories," the company said in the statement, adding: "Winners will be sent on three nights, four days trip to Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and South Korea to meet their relatives working as a migrant worker so that they can celebrate Dashain together.


Winners will be allowed to take one of their family members along for the trip.” The offer is valid between July 23 to August 14.
