Bista unanimously elected as Speaker of Koshi Province Assembly

BIRATNAGAR, Jan 9: Ambar Bahadur Bista of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has been unanimously elected as Speaker of Koshi Province Assembly.

Today's meeting of the Koshi Province Assembly unanimously elected Bista as Speaker.

Among his proposers were RPP parliamentary party leader Bhakti Sitaula and province assembly member Prem Raj Thamsuhang as supporters.

The post became vacant after Baburam Gautam resigned as Speaker on August 1.
