KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Bishal Milan Kendra and Himalayan Hounds have registered victories in the ongoing first Kwiks Men’s Basketball League on Tuesday. Bishal Milan defeated Golden Gate College 70-60. The winning team led the first quarter 22-16, 14-13 in the second, but was trailing in third 14-19 and led the fourth 20-15. Sandesh Tamang of Milan Kendra scored the highest 23. In the other match played on the same day, Hounds beat Xavier International College 64-59. Hounds was trailing in the first quarter 13-17, but led the second and the third quarters 14-7, 17-16 respectively. It also led the fourth quarter 21-18 and won the match. Bishal Milan will now take on Budhanilkantha Municipality, while Golden Gate will face South Siders on Wednesday.
