Bindhyabasini Temple has elevator

KATHMANDU, March 8: Laxmi Group Nepal with joint contribution of Hyundai Motor, South Korea has constructed an elevator on the premises of Bindhyabasini Temple, Pokhara to ease mobility to elderly and physically-impaired visitors.

The elevator was inaugurated by President Bidya Bhandari on Thursday.

The chairman of Bindhyabasini Development Committee and Laxmi Group Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha gave a welcome speech at the inauguration ceremony.

After formation of the committee, it has constructed Radhakrishna Temple, Shanti Niwas, Gurukul Bhawan, Temple of Ashta Chiranjivi and Navagraha Temple, Yagyamandap, Aakhanda Hawan Mandap and Bindhyabasini Bahuudhesya Bhawan among other infrastructure on the premises.

The committee is also providing daycare service to the elderly along with Bindhyabasini Ambulance.

Gandaki Province Chief Minister Prithivi Subba Gurung and Pokhara Municipality Mayor Man Bahadur GC were also present in the function.
