Nepal-Bangladesh U-23 Match

KATHMANDU, July 11: Skipper Bimal Gharti Magar scored the solitary goal of the match as Nepal U-23 won the friendly against Bangladesh U-23 at ANFA Sports Complex, Satdobato.
The goal came on 20th minute as Gharti executed his technical prowess to put the ball behind the Bangla goalkeeper. Anjan Bista, one of the ten first team squad members featuring in U-23 squad, registered the assist.
Ananta Tamang, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Gaurav Budhathoki, Hemant Thapa Magar, Suman Lama, Sunil Bal, Alan Neupane, Amit Tamang and Heman Gurung were other starters for Nepal U-23 on Tuesday.
Nepal U-23 is set to face UAE, Lebanon and Uzbekistan in Group D of Asian Football Cup U-23 Qualifiers starting from July 15 at Al Ain, UAE.
