Biker killed in Sitapaila road accident

KATHMANDU, March 12: A motorcyclist was killed as the bike, Ba 40 Pa 8462, rammed into a roadside electric pole at Sitapaila in the capital on Thursday.

According to police, biker Shayam Kumar Shrestha, 42, employed as ranger at the District Forest Office, Kathmandu was seriously injured in the mishap.

Shrestha breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
