Big 3 close to consensus on amendment bill: Dahal

BIRATNAGAR, Jan 2: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal revealed that three major parties are near to consensus on the amendment bill to the new constitution.

Dahal, who is also the coordinator of the High-Level Political Mechanism (HLPC), said Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist) are close to consensus on the proportionate and inclusive representation and determination of constituencies based on population."Slowly and gradually the NC, CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist) are coming close to consensus on the amendment bill to the new constitution," said Dahal while talking to journalist in Biratnagar airport on Saturday morning.

According to Dahal, earlier the leaders of the major parties were at odd over the issues related to cluster-wise inclusiveness.
