The DPO said that the bicycle police patrolling has been started with the cooperation of the financial institutions in the district headquarters for beefing up the security of the market and the financial institutions.[break]
Various banks and financial institutions based in the district headquarters handed over six bicycles to the DPO for that purpose, it is said. From now on the police would conduct regular patrolling in Syangja Bazaar town from these bicycles, the DPO said.
