KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The political rally and the party unification declaration meeting to be held by Bibeksheel-Sajha Party was boycotted by the party coordinator and other members of the party.
Many leaders including party coordinator Milan Pandey, parliamentary party leader Ramesh Poudel, leader Keshav Dahal, Bagmati province coordinator and popular leader Ranju Darshana, general secretary of the youth organization Saroj Gautam and other members have boycotted the program.

Party coordinator Milan Panda said that they are boycotting the program as the two unidentified groups were uniting and were advocating Hindu state, monarchy and the abolition of federalism.
The controversy erupted in the party after Rabindra Mishra brought an agenda for politics in the name of religion and an anti-republicanism proposal in the party. In the midst of this controversy, Animesh Kumar, the coordinator of Province 2 and 12 leaders including the coordinator of Gandaki Pradesh, former coordinator and secretariat member of the International Committee Dr. Rajendra Pangeni, Spokesperson of the International Committee Bishnu Joshi, central members Dibyesh Giri, Prakash Acharya, Deepak Poudyal, Pratibha Dangol, Deepa Aryal and Sarala Lamichhane have resigned in protest of the idea put forward by Rabindra Mishra.
The leaders such as Milan Pandey, Ramesh Paudel, Keshav Dahal, Ranju Darshana and others are dissatisfied with the idea of a change of path taken by Rabindra Mishra due to which the party is at a crucial crossroads.
