DHARAN, July31: International volleyball player Sipora Gurung is not limited only to the field of sports, she has also tried her hand in the field of movies, too.
Sipora had also performed in a Gurung community film ‘The Ghalek: The Sign of Love’ six years ago ( in 2011).
Sipora, who took a break from the movie field immediately after Ghalek, has resumed her film career recently.
She is being seen in a Nepali film ‘Bhuimanchhe’ directed by Nawaraj Budhathoki and produced by Rohini Bhattarai.

She is not so keenly interested in movies and acting but her interest gradually grew in the field following offers after her participation in Miss Nepal contest.
She is currently in Dharan for the promotion of ‘Bhuimanchhe’ that she did after six years.
“There were a lot of offers following my first film ‘The Ghalek. But I did not accept them,” Sipora said, adding, “I wanted to do this film due to its script. It has a unique plot and story, which is informative, too.”
‘Bhuimanchhe’ serves about the story of a coroner whose job is to discover the cause of any sudden and suspicious death which does not fall in the priority list in the Nepali society.
This informative story rekindled my interest in the movie again, said Sipora.
According to producer Bhattarai, Ramesh Budhathoki is in the lead role of the coroner while Sipora has done the character of a sporty type of college girl in the film.
Other artists include Rohini Bhattarai, Badal Bhatta, Ram Babu Regmi, Shasanka Bohara .
Presented by Shaili Entertainment and Movies Pvt. Ltd and Shaili Theater, Buimanchhe is all set to hit the screens from August 18.
