BHIMDATTA NAGAR, March 19: The Bhimdatta Nagar Municipality in Kanchanpur district is to honor two national cricket team members with Rs 151,000 each.
The municipality is going to reward cricketers Dipendra Singh Airee and Bhim Sarki. Both the cricketers are the permanent residents of the Bhimdatta Nagar Municipality.
Spokesperson for the municipality, Mahendra Khadka said the two cricketers would be honored with the cash prize for their contribution to taking Nepal into the 2023 One-day men's World Cup qualifier after defeating the UAE on March 16.
"A formal decision to this end will be taken soon by conducting the meeting of the municipal executive. The players are the pride of the municipality," he said.
