Bhattarai, Yadav hold meeting with India's foreign minister

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Samajbadi Party Nepal Chairman duo Baburam Bhattarai and Upendra Yadav held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Samajbadi Party Nepal Chairman duo Baburam Bhattarai and Upendra Yadav held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Thursday.


The meeting that took place at Hotel Dwarika in the capital focused on various matters of Nepal-India relations.

"Had good exchange of views with visiting Indian Minister of External Affairs @DrSJaishankar on matters of mutual interests. Happy to learn that the present Indian Government is eager to expand connectivity and economic cooperation with Nepal." Bhattarai tweeted following the meeting.


Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri and Joint Secretary (North) at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs Piyush Srivastava were also present in the meeting.
