Bhattarai calls on parties to unite

BIRATNAGAR, Aug 5: Naya Shakti Party coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai has insisted on amendments to the constitution to address the Tarai-Madhes problems.
Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport Friday afternoon, the former Prime Minister called on the major political parties to make a common stand to address grievances regarding the new constitution.
He was of the view of adopting a direct electoral system for executive and carrying out restructuring of the state on the basis of a report endorsed by the first Constituent Assembly. RSS
