BHARATPUR, July 21: The Educational Administration Division of Bharatpur Metropolitan City has issued a notice, requesting community and institutional schools not to enroll students for grade 11 unless the SEE results are published.
The administration made the announcement after receiving complaints from parents stating that some colleges have started enrolling students into class 11 even though the SEE results have not been published yet. The education department has warned of legal action against any institution admitting students before the results are published.
SEE results vibe!
A team comprising Municipal Education Officer Mahendra Prasad Paudyal and members of the Municipal Education community have also monitored and inquired some schools, asking them to furnish clarifications. Upon their investigation, it was found that some schools were found admitting students to grade 11 in the name of registration and securing their seat even before the SEE results were published, Paudyal said.
Most of the schools have even started to teach the students online for a small fee in the name of registration, fearing that the students will look for admission at other schools. There are currently more than 50 schools including 28 community schools that have started courses for grade 11 students. Schools which do not comply with the order will face legal action, Paudyal said.
