Talking to media persons after participating at a programme in Nuwakot district headquarters, Bidur, on Thursday, Bogati said Minister Bhandari´s statement could have come considering the situation in which the state, at least in principle, has already conceded the people´s rights to self-determination. He however stressed that the meaning of the rights to self-determination should not be understood in terms of disintegration of the country.
He also said his party´s central committee meeting was postponed for some days as concluding the ongoing peace process was more important than the intra-party rift.
"Internal rift seen in the party will be resolved. All leaders should understand that country´s issues are more important than the party´s", Bogati said.
