First edition of ‘Best Model of the Year’ held on Thursday at the premises of Masala Cottage, Teku. Hosted by Nepal Fashion City the competition aims to produce trained and capable models for national and international pageants, as mentioned in press statement issued by the organizers. After this the audition will take place in Pokhara, Narayanghat, Butwal, Dharan and Chitwan.

Females between 14 to 32 years can participate in the competition. Participants are judged on the basis of various assessment including ramp walk, personality development, photo session, stage performance, and public speaking.
Winner of the competition will bag various gift hampers along with a cash prize of Rs 100,000.
