The company has cliamed that the newly introduced paint is the finest, safest and the first and only eco-friendly paint available in Nepal.
“Keeping in mind the demand for paint that is both high in performance and aesthetics and low in toxicity, we have introduced Berger Silk Breathe Easy that brings together a high sheen finish with zero health hazard,” Saibal Ghosh, country manager of Berger Jenson & Nicholson-Nepal, said at a program organized to launch the paint on Monday. The company claims that the new paint is Nepal´s first no-smell range of paints which are low in Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) and are toxin free. The paint has also been certified as eco-friendly by Singapore Green Label Committee.
“We are happy and proud to introduce a product like Berger Silk Breathe Easy which is both luxurious and safe in the Nepali market. We are very hopeful about the product as the festive season is right at our doorstep and there is a trend of painting homes and shops during this period,” said Ghosh.
The company is planning to distribute the product through selected dealers only in the initial phase.
“We have 700 dealers across the country but only 100 dealers are the members in our Stallion Club and we will be distributing the new products through the members of the club in the initial phase," said Manoj Mishra, sales and marketing head of the company.
The product is available in the market at Rs 1,500 per liter.
