PALPA, Oct 1: The Palpali Society based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has provided financial assistance of Rs 235 thousands to the family of Ganga Saru Magar of Jhadewa, Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-4 who had recently died in the UAE.

His spouse Dunisa Saru Magar was handed a cheque of Rs 200 thousands and additional cash Rs 35 thousands as his death rituals expenses, said society General Secretary Bed Prasad Aryal.
The 21-year-old Saru was found dead in his bed on July 14. He had been there in course of foreign employment and is survived by his wife and two sons --one is three-months old and another is three-years-old. The society based in the UAE managed the assistance through a fundraising campaign.(RSS)
