Basnet-led group declares candidates for ECAN election

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: A group led by Saroj Kumar Basnet organized a program on Thursday to declare their candidates for the upcoming executive committee election of the Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN). The voting is scheduled to take place coming Saturday.



ECAN President Rajendra Baral, former president Dwiraj Sharma, Advisor Mahesh Karki, chief of advisory committee Arun Lamichhane, and former chairman of the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Australia, Ganesh KC were present at the program.

The group has put forward a 14-point manifesto on the program held in the capital on Wednesday. The guests praised the agendas presented by Basnet and wished his group good luck for the election.


Other members of Basnet's group include Mahesh Babu Timilsina, the operator of Kangaroo Education Foundation, Rajendra Rijal, who runs Kathmandu Infosys Educational Consultancy, and Niraj Sitaula.
