KATHMANDU, March 4: Ashok Baram and Fleur Mountjoy won first place in the fourth stage of Nepal's first 100-mile KVR Stage Race Challenge in the men’s and women’s category respectively.
As part of the 37 km race that started from Ranikot and ended at Dolu, Ashok completed the distance in 4 hours 23 minutes 19 seconds. Raja Mahatara was the runner-up with a timing of 4 hours 24 minutes 20 seconds and Mana Kumar Roka Magar finished third with a timing of 4 hours 34 minutes 03 seconds.

In the women’s category, Mountjoy finished the race in 5 hours 31 minutes 04 seconds. Similarly, Stine Hazelberg, who settled for the second position, clocked five hours, 58 minutes and 14 seconds. Sonya Martin finished third with a timing of 5 hours 58 minutes 36 seconds.
A total of 70 runners, including 15 foreigners, participated in the fourth stage of the stage race. Niraj Shrestha of Nepal Olympic Committee presented the prizes to the runners.
The stage race was organized by Trialmandu on Saturday.
