KATHMANDU, Feb 23: The House of Representatives (HoR) has sent the 'Banking Offense and Punishment (second amendment), Bill-2080 BS to the respective committee for clause-wise deliberation.
A proposal put forward by Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat in the second meeting of the House on Friday seeking consideration for clause-wise discussion on the bill in the committee was unanimously approved.
On the occasion, Speaker Devraj Ghimire had read out the letter designating work responsibility obtained from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
In the meeting, Arzu Deuba, chairperson of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee under the House had tabled the committee's report-2080 BS on the 'Food Hygiene and Quality Bill ' that originated in the National Assembly.
Next meeting of the HoR is scheduled for 11:01 AM on February 25.
