Bandipur Rural Municipality enhances tourist experience with multilingual information

KATHMANDU, July 25: In a bid to provide seamless access to its 17 captivating tourist destinations, Bandipur Rural Municipality has taken a significant step by collaborating with Madani Media Pvt Ltd to prepare informative content in eight different languages, including Nepali.

KATHMANDU, July 25: In a bid to provide seamless access to its 17 captivating tourist destinations, Bandipur Rural Municipality has taken a significant step by collaborating with Madani Media Pvt Ltd to prepare informative content in eight different languages, including Nepali.


This pioneering initiative allows visitors to read and hear about the tourist spots simply by scanning the QR code located at various locations within the rural municipality. “The collaboration was undertaken with the core objective of offering easy accessibility to the rich cultural and natural attractions for tourists exploring Bandipur,” said Rural Municipality Chairman Surendra Thapa

During a ceremony held on Bandipur Rural Municipality office premises on Tuesday, Madani Media's President Bishnu Kant Ghimire officially handed over the information, complete with QR codes, to Chairman  Thapa.


The information, carefully curated in Nepali, English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, and other languages, encompasses details about Bandipur's renowned Thanimai Temple, the mesmerizing Mani Mukundeshwari Wall (Mini Great Wall), the spiritual Bindhyavasini Temple, the historic Padma Library, the enigmatic Pataledwar Cave, the scenic Pahad Pani, the tranquil Martyr Memorial Park, and several other alluring tourist destinations.


With this approach, Bandipur Rural Municipality aims to enrich the experience of travelers from diverse linguistic backgrounds, fostering a deeper appreciation for the cultural and natural heritage that the region proudly boasts.
