Bajura village grappling with viral fever

BAJURA, May 4: Over 90 people have been so far treated for viral fever at Rugin of Himali rural municipality-5 in Bajura district.

BAJURA, May 4: Over 90 people have been so far treated for viral fever at Rugin of Himali rural municipality-5 in Bajura district.


Kyudi and Nadapata of Rugin have been affected the most by the seasonal fever. According to District Public Health Office, Bajura chief Ashok Kumar Singh, a medical team from the office has so far provided treatment of viral fever to over 93 people of Rugin.

Cough, common cold, headache, and fever are the common symptoms that the affected complained of. Rugin Health Post chief Dhan Bahadur Phadera said one health assistant and one ANM have been deployed in the village until the fever comes under complete control. Cough and common cold, diarrhea and viral fever are the major health issues that other parts of the district are facing presently.


A ‘buffer store’ is to be placed at every local level in a bid to control the viral fever.
