KATHMANDU, April, 16: BAJEKO SEKUWA, the most popular Nepalese food chain restaurant, has opened its branch in Queens Blvd, Sunny side, New York. It is Bajeko Sekuwa’s first ever international outlet.
At the opening gala, Nepalese top artists – Ram Krishna Dhakal, Jagadish Hamal, Gita Burlakoti and DJ LS from New York fired up the floor. A huge gathering of Nepalese residing in New York were found enjoying their favourite “SEKUWA” and other Nepalese cuisines and drinks.
Bajeko Sekuwa outlet opens in New York
Deepak Bhandari, one of the investors at Bajeko Sekuwa says, “Finally, I feel close to Nepal and Nepalese food.”
"With a target of opening six more Bajeko Sekuwa outlets across different parts of the United states by 2024, we are confident that we will hit the right notes, I am confident on my brand and my team," said Chetan Bhandari, chairman of Bajeko Sekuwa.
Bajeko Sekuwa currently has 13 national outlets and New York is its 1st international outlet. Preparations are underway to open other international outlets in Qatar,Doha, Sydney and Finland, said the sources.
