NSJF President Nirajan Rajbanshi and Golchha Organization director Shekhar Golchha signed the agreement to make Bajaj Pulsar, the Indian motorbike, the main sponsor of the awards.
“The sponsorship is more for the development of sports than our business motive,” Golchha said during the signing ceremony. “At the present situation of the country, we believe sports could be the uniting factor for all Nepalis.”
The deal, worth Rs. 550,000 in cash and kinds, is valid for a year. Golchha Organization will provide Rs 400,000 cash along with nine Samsung digital camera for awardees and will also support NJSF in promotional materials.
The event is set for September 10.
