KATHMANDU, Oct 21: The Bagmati Province Assembly meeting on Thursday was put off without holding trust vote.
Speaker of Bagmati Province Sanu Kumar Shrestha has put off the Province Assembly meeting till October 27.
Earlier, Chief Minister Ashta Laxmi Shakya had announced to take trust vote during the Province Assembly meeting on Thursday.
Addressing the Province Assembly meeting on Thursday, Chief Minister Shakya has solicited votes from the opposition parties. However, Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Unified Maoist) and CPN (Unified Socialist) had announced that they would not be able to cast votes in her favor.
