Babloo Dubey handed to Bihar police

BARA, June 5: Notorious Indian most wanted criminal Babloo Dubey aka Mithilesh Dubey, 30, who was arrested on last Tuesday from Kathmandu, has been secretly handed to Bihar (Indian) police on Tuesday night.



According to sources at Bara police, Dubey was handed to Bihar police last night as per latter´s demand in connection with his involvement in the various crimes in Bihar.[break]



The sources confirmed that Dubey was handed to a team of Bihar police led by SP Binaya Singh last night.



However, Yogendra Dulal, acting chief District Officer, expressed his ignorance about the Dubey’s handover to Bihar police.



He said that Dubey was released on bail of Rs 8000 last night after completing his seven day’s custody earlier ruled by the Bara district administration office (DAO) on last Wednesday.



Dubey, who was arrested from a flat at Sita Housing Colony at Sitapaila by a squad from Narayani Zonal Police with the assistance of the Metropolitan Police Sector Office, Swayambhu, was handed to Bara police on last Wednesday.



Earlier on last Wednesday, police had filed a case at Bara district administration office and sent in custody for seven days.
