Inaugurating the event, Kawjanwat said that the idea of a freestyle dance was to give option to young people apart from drugs.
“Many youngsters are wasting their money and time in drugs and have made their families suffer. This event is to let those young people know there are options beside drugs. And, freestyle dances can be it.”

Two b-boys (hip-hop and break dancers) from Thailand, Chaiwat Sareebot and Pattranum Lammayog, judged the event. The former South East Asia, Asia and World Champions stunned the bystanders with their moves during the intervals.
Nepal’s own break dance and b-boy crew, DoomSquad, the winner of the 1st Shuffle and B-Boying Battle, performed to the songs like Apologize and Yeah.
The battle even came with a rule of its own. No bad words, no bad body language and no touching the competitors, kept the tussle between the dancers at bay.
With 51 participants, the battle was a hit. Fourteen of them are chosen to form a Professional Nepal B-Boy crew, who will prepare themselves for the selection of Battle of Year Asia. For which the training will be conducted in Thailand, with sponsorship from Krisada Kawjanwat.

Nishant Gauchan, one of the selected b-boys said with mized emotions in his face, “I am happy that I am going for further training but sad that my friends could not make it with whom I practiced.”
Finest of the moves came from a sixteen year old Sampurna Lama, who also got selected for the further training. “My mom and father are going to be happy about my success as I had been practicing my moves even during my SLC time,” said Lama.
Kawjanwat ended the event with another delight of continuing such similar battle next month.
