KATHMANDU, Aug 20: Australian Ambassador to Nepal Simon Ernst paid a courtesy call on Home Minister Sudan Gurung at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

According to the Embassy of Australia in Nepal, the envoy held discussions with Minister Gurung on issues of mutual interest, including refugee matters. The embassy said Ernst appreciated the opportunity to exchange views with the home minister.
The embassy further said that Australia looks forward to continuing its close cooperation with Nepal on shared priorities.
